Mastering the techniques in DB: Sparking Zero guide will help you understand how to master this mode and how to counter it during fights.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero – Everything You Need to Know About Afterimage

The biggest challenge when dealing with Afterimage in Sparking Zero is the lack of any clear indicator that it’s active. There’s no sound, animation, or icon to show that your opponent is in Afterimage mode, making it tricky to recognize when it's being used. However, if you notice that your attacks are having no effect, that’s your clue they’ve activated it. To help you counter this technique, here’s what you need to know:

  1. Afterimage lasts for about 15 seconds. If you notice that your enemy is in this mode, try to wait it out, or simply activate it yourself.
  2. Use Sonic Sway, Revenge Counters, or other evasive maneuvers to dodge attacks and find opportunities to grab your opponent.
  3. Only Ki blasts can penetrate an opponent's Afterimage and land a hit.
  4. Don’t forget that entering Sparking mode grants you super armor, which can be incredibly useful in these situations.

Been with gamepressure.moviesx.org since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or iring my collection of retro consoles.
