Failure or success? GTA veteran's new game, MindsEye, launches today
We are just hours away from the release of MindsEye. The game was developed under the guidance of one of the main developers of GTA 3, 4, and 5, but many are expecting a disaster.

Update #2 (June 10th, 10:15 am PT)
MindsEye has launched on PC, PS5, and XSX/S. Importantly, the game did receive a release patch on Microsoft consoles.
Update (June 10th, 04:25 am PT)
According to the latest reports, MindEye won't get a launch patch for the Xbox Series X/S due to delays in Xbox certification. An update of around 16 GB is coming with some "key final gameplay improvements, visual enhancements, performance, and stability fixes" (via MauroNL).
As part of Play.MindsEye, a dedicated platform where Build a Rocket Boy can send and share extra gameplay stuff like new side missions, races, and challenges, the creators promise dozens of extra hours of content for the game (via PCGamesN).

MindsEye clearly draws from the legacy of GTA, so everyone is curious about how the game will fare against this franchise. There is some concern about the fact that two important employees left the studio responsible for the project without giving a reason, a week before the release. The impressions from the shows are strongly mixed. Many people are, therefore, expecting a disaster. We will find out how it really is this evening.
