Dreamfall: Chapters Book Four will be out some time later than planned. The reason for the delay was explained in detail by Red Thread Games in the latest Kickstarter update. In short, this is because the studio is still busy at work on the game’s transition from Unity Engine 4.6 onto 5.x version (currently 5.2.). This will bring about some essential improvements, including enhanced visuals, better performance and stability, as well as easier porting onto other platforms (as far as we know, it’s PlayStation 4, but using plural form may suggests something more is in store).
The fourth episode of the long-awaited third installment in Dreamfall series will arrive in a couple of weeks from now, but no specific date was given. Before that, the upgraded version of the game will be tested on Steam beta program.
