Well, he’s done it again! Elon Musk tried to show off his PoE 2 skills... and got taken out by the first real boss in Act 1.

Maybe he was just feeling a little insecure after drama with Reddit’s CEO, nothing.

Elon Musk vs. PoE 2 – round two

Elon Musk itted to cheating in Path of Exile 2, letting other people play on his to climb the ranks. His excuse was that there's no way to compete with Asian players who supposedly do the same. He made this confession in a private chat with YouTuber NikoWrex a few months ago, saying, "It’s impossible to beat the players in Asia if you don’t as they do!" Still, he insists that when he's streaming, he's playing solo and never meant to take credit for anyone else's work.

On April 6th, Elon Musk streamed PoE 2 from his private jet, trying to prove he’s a true gamer. Things went south fast when he lost to Devourer, the second (optional) boss in Act 1. While Devourer is no pushover, it’s still not the toughest enemy in Act 1. To be honest, I don’t really it that well – unlike that damn King in the Mists, which had me seriously reworking my build just to finally beat him.

Devourer requires constant movement and avoiding its deadly tail, plus dealing with larvae that sap your health. Musk didn’t quite follow the strategy, and his second attempt was even worse – he lost to the tutorial boss, The Bloated Miller. In the end, he wrapped up the stream with connection issues and a flood of hateful comments popping up in the chat.

Reddit s, of course, aren’t holding back, saying:

You know what, maybe we've been too harsh on GGG, we get to bully billionaires twice now and no other game has allowed us to do that so far.

- Major_Plantain3499

I bet the real reason GGG nerfed everything was so elon would die the second he started streaming

- RebbitTheForg

To be fair, the tutorial boss isn't that easy if you have never played an ARPG before

- BenevolentCrows

YouTuber Quin69TV also reacted to Elon Musk’s latest PoE 2 attempt, straight-up saying there’s no way the billionaire is getting past Act 1 without some serious help. He argued that Musk barely understands the game’s mechanics and hasn’t improved at all – even after all this time.

Been with gamepressure.moviesx.org since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or iring my collection of retro consoles.
