Here comes another cozy game to help us all unwind, Islands & Trains is pulling into the station on May 29, 2025, on Steam. Don’t worry though, this isn’t some hardcore management sim or complex strategy game. It’s all about relaxing, getting creative, and just enjoying the ride.

Islands & Trains is all about deg your perfect train route on a charming island landscape that you shape from the ground up. We can curve out tracks around scenic mountains, cross shimmering lakes, and connect adorable little towns – all at our own pace. We can even add animals, decorate the terrain, and tweak the surroundings to match our vision.
There’s no pressure here, no objectives to chase, no countdowns, and definitely no wrong moves. Just a peaceful space to decompress, experiment, and enjoy the process. It’s not about winning or finishing, just creating something picturesque and watching it come to life, one track at a time. It’s a pure sandbox experience, with a relaxing vibe, simple mechanics, and aesthetic appeal. Like creating a living, animated postcard.
