This fact is linked to an interesting tidbit. Nearly five years ago, Steam reached a record of 20 million people logged in simultaneously, marking an increase of over 100% since then (the 10 million threshold was broken in June 2015). This shows how rapidly Gabe's digital store is expanding, and despite the competition from Epic Games Store, it continues to lead on PC.

Of course, the new record wouldn't have been achieved without popular games. In this case, the release of Elden Ring, and now ranks 5th on the all-time list.

It's also important to highlight the outstanding condition of Counter-Strike. In the last 24 hours, at its peak, 1.75 million players were playing it, which is dangerously close to the record of just over 1.8 million.

The remaining most popular games are Naraka: Bladepoint. All these titles and many others contributed to achieving a new record on Steam.
