Dead Island 2: Haus is the first major expansion to Dead Island 2, a first-person action game released in April 2023. It was developed by Dambuster Studios, just like the base game.
Dead Island 2: Haus is set in a mansion in Malibu. The manor is the headquarters of a techno-death cult led by the charismatic Konstantin, who spreads the word of a new, incoming future. The player must infiltrate the mansion and deal with the cult before things get out of hand.
Dead Island 2: Haus tasks us with exploring a massive estate, completing quests and taking down hordes of enemies. In addition to weapons from the base game, the expansion also introduces three new ones, such as the highly advanced K-ROSSBOW and the red-hot Hog Roaster blade. It also adds eight brand new skill cards/
Dead Island 2: Haus is not a standalone DLC, requiring the base version of Dead Island 2.

I am really glad I got back to Hell-A, explore this new magnificent house and punch zombies to a pulp once again. The writing is even more funnier than the main game and my man Ryan is absolutely hilarious. If you loved Dead Island 2, you are probably going to love the HAUS expansion.

Dead Island 2’s HAUS DLC is an enjoyable little excursion into a new area that slightly expands on the original ending and leaves us with more questions than answers. In many ways, I feel there is a lot of missed potential from this DLC. It could have expanded the world more than it did and it could have offered significantly more playtime.
