We have to face the above mentioned opponent also in Dead Space Extraction. The title tells the story of cosmic colonists desperately trying to escape from a threatening mining colony, Aegis VII, located in distant parts of space. Because of this seclusion, the residents of the base are dependent only on each other. A completely new heroine appears in the game. The ship's crew is decimated by the infection and perhaps the life of all will depend on the rescue of this person.

The authors decided to show the world of the game from the perspective of the first person, in contrast to the original, which used a camera from behind the hero. Production takes advantage of the benefits of Wii and PS3, specific controllers, and basically resembles works such as the House of the Dead series. To these elements should be added, of course, the dark and stuffy atmosphere of the cosmic station and extremely suggestive, disturbing beasts, waiting for us in many nooks and crannies. This makes us another really interesting adventure, which will be appreciated mainly by players with strong nerves.

Dead Space Extraction is a fully-fledged representative of the series, including all that is the original. The title offers a very dark climate, a lot of elements of violence and blood, and a large number of fights using a variety of new weapons and tactics. The authors have prepared a number of previously unknown tools and objects, which can be used in our attempt to survive in dangerous conditions. There are also many unique characters and, of course, even more dangerous opponents. We can fight against them not only on our own, thanks to a special network mode, which allows for cooperative gameplay.
