F-Zero GX is one of the most successful racing games ever released on the Nintendo Gamecube console. It is also the next installment of a very popular series, started as early as in the 90s. Despite the fact that the basic assumptions of the game were left practically unchanged, GX performs much better than its predecessors. This time the game is developed by a studio called Amusement Vision, also known for such productions as Virtua Striker 4 or Super Monkey Ball 2.

The described racer is still an exceptionally dynamic product, in which one sits at the helm of one of the several available hovercrafts. Due to the fact that the action was set in the future, these are not traditional vehicles. Hovercrafts are not only perfectly armoured, so they can withstand many blows, but also extremely fast. The player can of course choose between several different machines, described by parameters such as maximum speed or manoeuvrability. The competition is held on very interestingly designed routes. Unique tracks have always been one of the main attractions of the games in this series and it is no different in this case. Many hills, sudden turns and sharp descents have been prepared. The player must also a few other things. The option to use a turbocharger appears on each subsequent lap. In addition, pay attention to the hovercraft damage strap, which can fortunately be regenerated.
