The fourth part of the action RPG game about the fight against powerful monsters. In this version we play the role of a mercenary travelling with a caravan between several villages that need help. The authors of the series have prepared dozens of new items, armour and NPCs. Some ideas for the game were taken from the faster and more dynamic Dragon's Dogma.
Monster Hunter 4 is the fourth installment of a series of action games about fighting monsters. The brand is extremely popular in Japan, although it has many fans outside of the Land of Cherry Blossom. The production was created by Capcom's studio, which prepared most of the previous parts of Monster Hunter.
In Monster Hunter 4 we return to the universe where people struggle with terrifying beasts of different sizes, shapes and properties. In "The Four" Capcom presented the most extensive story in the history of the series. This time we play the role of a mercenary travelling around the world with a caravan. During the adventure we visit and defend not one, but a few villages (each of them can become a base for a trip) and we meet dozens of characters. The core of the game is, of course, an extensive combat system.
Monster Hunter is known for its great, spectacular and challenging battles. In the fourth part many elements of the predecessors have been preserved, but new weapons, armour, items and ing characters (characteristic of Felyne) have been added. In clashes, the layout of the terrain is more important, which can be used to lead out special attacks. The beasts themselves take into the shaping of the area - now much more dangerous, because they are equipped with corrected scripts of artificial intelligence.
Capcom enriched the gameplay with an idea from his other game - Dragon's Dogma. It is primarily about the system of grabbing opponents. Now we can hang on the monster and cover it with a sword. The fight in Monster Hunter 4 is also a bit faster and more dynamic. However, you still need to be very careful and choose your tactics wisely. The motif, which has been abandoned in this version are water scenes. The game includes a standard cooperation mode for four people in the local network.
