Super Meat Boy 3D

Super Meat Boy 3D is the third installment of the brutal and extremely challenging platforming series, started in 2010 by the game Super Meat Boy. The game is the result of a collaboration between independent studios Sluggerfly and Team Meat.

Gameplay

As the title suggests, Super Meat Boy 3D transfers the classic gameplay scheme developed for the earlier parts of the series to a three-dimensional environment.

Adventure in a three-dimensional world

We watch the action from a bird's eye view and we play as a hero who is a piece of meat, setting off to rescue his beloved made of bandages. He plans to accomplish this before she falls victim to an evil fetus in a jar dressed in a tuxedo. The adventure leads the protagonist through various locations, such as a burning forest, a landfill, or a futuristic forge.

Ruthless difficulty level

Similar to the previous installments of the series, the game is characterized by a very high difficulty level, testing our patience, dexterity, and reflexes. While going through different levels, we have to jump on platforms, avoid ubiquitous traps, and by various obstacles. All of this needs to be done not only quickly, but also precisely, because otherwise our character will end up badly, shredded by a saw or cut by a laser. As if that wasn't enough, there are also bosses here that we have to face.
