The Sims 4: Snowy Escape is another add-on to the popular life simulator released in 2014. As with other expansions, EA Maxis is responsible for its production.
Like other DLCs released to The Sims 4, the Snowy Escape does not change the basic gameplay mechanics. Instead, the authors decided to implement a lot of additional content in the game. The biggest novelty is the mountain village of Mt. Komorebi, that is inspired by Japan. It is the first mixed world in the game where you can normally live or just go on holiday. Along with the surroundings there are also other activities for sims, such as hiking, skiing and sledging.
Snowy Escape also have a significant impact on the sims themselves. In addition to the new objects available for use in character creation mode, there have also appeared mechanics that influence their personality. The first of them are lifestyles - the player can choose one of the previously prepared sets and thus influence his behaviour and habits. The second mechanic are the feelings which, based on previous s between sims, determine their mutual relations and available interactions.
The Sims 4: Snowy Escape is not a stand-alone add-on and it requires a basic version of the game to work.

The Sims is a series of games created by Maxis studio and published by Electronics Arts since 2000. The games in the series can be described as life simulators, in which, directing the avatars we create, we act out scenes from everyday life, but also build them houses, which they can then furnish according to their own vision. The series has sold more than 200 million copies, making it one of the world's best-selling games, and has twice made it into the Guinness Book of World Records.
