TCS Tiger's Claw is destroyed by invisible enemy fighters, and the hero is degraded and moved to the rear. However, an armada of Kilrathi ships is approaching the Earth, and we can prove our innocence in battle.
The second part of the cosmic Wing Commander saga takes us ten years into the future. After a heroic attitude in the Vega Campaign, the career of the protagonist, from the hair colour called "Blue Hair", didn't go on cheerfully at all. The TCS Tiger's Claw is destroyed by invisible enemy fighters, and our hero is degraded and moved to a unimportant beachhead on the periphery. An excellent pilot with an innate reflex and intuitive tactical sense of the enemy was wasted while his friends were killed on the front line in an ongoing war with the Kilrathi race. However, the enemy gained an advantage and intended to launch a final attack. An armada of ships of the Kilrathi Empire is approaching the Earth. Now every pilot counts We get an assignment on the Concordia flagship, where we meet many old friends. Now we can again deal with Kilrathi and prove our innocence in the case of destroyed Tiger's Claw.
Apart from the feature line the sequel has not changed significantly in of graphics in relation to the first part of the game. There are five new ships that can be piloted and several machines on the opponent's side to shoot down. In the game you can already hear the voice of the winged, but at first the full voice version was sold separately as a Speech Accessory Pack. Improved the intelligence of opponents who can now dynamically adapt to the level of the player. As usual, the strongest point of the game is the addictive plot, the course of which depends on the results of key missions in the war campaign.
Similar to the first part, here also quickly appeared two supplements, entitled Special Operations 1 and Special Operations 2.
