Players have the opportunity to play the role of participants in a TV show and compete in crazy obstacle courses. The aim of the competitors is usually to reach the finish line as quickly as possible, which is hindered by numerous obstacles and traps. The gameplay allows you to compete against time, computer artificial intelligence or live opponents.
What distinguishes Wipeout: Create & Crash from previous Wipeout games is a completely new editor. It gives you the freedom to design new obstacle courses where you can compete with your friends.
The creators of Wipeout: Create & Crash have also included a few other novelties. New characters are available in the game, including Patty Popstar and Zombie Zed. The game also has several new thematic tracks such as Prehistoric Panic (with dinosaurs) or Wipeout's Ahoy.
As for the visuals, Wipeout: Create & Crash doesn't differ in quality from previous games in the series. The 3D graphics attract attention with its intense colors and comic silhouettes of the characters. The soundtrack is made up of musical motifs well known to the fans of the TV show.
