How to redeem code and hide your helmet in Dune Awakening
Don't know how to redeem codes in Dune Awakening? Or maybe you want to learn how to hide your helmet? You will find the answer to both of these questions right here.

Dune: Awakening is a survival MMO based on the well-known science fiction universe. Traversing an open world on Arrakis, which is famous for its extreme conditions on its surface, requires a focus on survival. To do just that, you may want a knife which is offered by redeeming a code. This is not the only protection you can use. Harsh environment also forces players to wear headgear to protect themselves from the sun and sand. However, to be more stylish, you might want to hide your helmet. We'll explain both of these options in our guide.
How to redeem codes in Dune Awakening
Taking advantage of various codes can quickly let you get interesting rewards that will help you survive on Arrakis. Finding this option, however, is not as easy as it may seem, as it is not found directly in the game itself.
You can redeem codes in two ways:
- Go to this official site of the game, through your Steam and paste the code there,
- Launch the game via Steam. When the Funcom Launcher appears, click on the option, to your Steam , select the Redeem Key tab and paste the code you received there.
As of now there is only one code which gives rewards: WAKE-THE-SLEEPER. However, probably due to server issues, the rewards are not properly distributed.
How to hide your helmet in Dune Awakening
The option of a constantly visible helmet may not appeal to everyone. Sure, it's an important piece of equipment, but there's a reason why a substantial part of the community spends a large part of the time on improving the appearance of their characters.
Fortunately, the developers of Dune: Awakening have taken care of the needs of these players, and implemented a feature to hide the headgear. You can go into the game options, then slide down the slider and find the Show Helmet option. Turn it off to enjoy gameplay with the face of your character visible.
Or, instead of disabling the option completely in the settings, you can go to your inventory, press the “D” key, and then uncheck the Helmet option.
