Differences
- Setting – In Stardew Valley, the action is set in more or less current times. Roots of Pacha takes the player to prehistoric times.

- Obtaining Pets – Pets can be purchased from Marnie in Stardew Valley. In Roots of Pacha, some creatures can be tamed.
- Platforms – Stardew Valley is available on multiple platforms: PC, PS4, XONE, PSV, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS smartphones. Roots of Pacha can only be played on PC.
Which one to choose?
If you're looking for a very extensive production in the Harvest Moon style, we heartily recommend Stardew Valley, which has received a lot of content over the years. However, if you've already played this game and are looking for something similar, yet fresh, then Roots of Pacha should rock you pretty hard.
