What are the stats of the Umbra sword?
- The Umbra sword and armor set are high quality items with appropriately high stats. They can be especially useful for a warrior who fights at close range and uses heavy armor. Alternatively you can sell them and make a lot of gold.
- The Umbra Sword is a one-handed long sword and belongs to the Blade weapon group. It deals high slashing damage and is also enchanted. It can trigger the Soul Trap effect upon hitting an enemy - the cooldown is 120 seconds.
What features does the Umbra's Armor have?
Together with the Umbra Sword you can obtain the complete Umbra's heavy armor. It consists of:
- Umbra's Ebony Boots
- Umbra's Ebony Cuirass
- Umbra's Ebony Gauntlets
- Umbra's Ebony Greaves
- Umbra's Ebony Helmet
- Umbra's Ebony Shield
The total weight of the armor pieces is 139. Make sure your character can carry enough weight to avoid getting overloaded. The image above shows the hero with the armor on, as well as the shield and Umbra sword.

- All the items described are in the equipment of Umbra the warrior and you can reach her at any time in the game. The earliest this can be done is after completing the prologue, i.e. after breaking out of prison and exiting the sewers. The methods described below assume that you will kill Umbra by stealth - you do not have to worry about a direct combat. There is no requirement to start battle once you are at a higher level or have better equipment.
- The destination is the Vindasel Elven Ruins. They are located in the Great Forest to the southwest of the Imperial City Waterfront and the sewer exit. Defeat or avoid some weak monsters in front of the ruins, then find the entrance to the underground ruins.
- Go through the ruins and memorize the location of the spike trap in one of the first rooms. Umbra is in the last room and is not hostile towards you by default. Take advantage of this fact and be sure to save your game - the next steps involve the risk that Umbra may catch up with you and kill with ease.

- Attack Umbra in any way you can (preferably with a ranged attack) and then start escaping towards the exit of the elven ruins. to sprint. It is important, however, not to deplete the Fatigue bar in 100% - then your character may lose strength and Umbra will easily catch up with you. Turn off sprinting every now and then to allow your Fatigue bar to recharge while you run normally.
- There are 2 main ways to defeat Umbra. The first method is to return to the room with the spike trap. Run around the large plate. Umbra will walk on it and fall onto the spikes. Unfortunately, the elite warrior is very durable and it may take several falls to kill Umbra.
- The second option is the long escape to the Imperial City. First get to the exit of the ruins. Once you get to the surface, make sure Umbra is still chasing you - the woman should also leave the ruins.
- First run north, ing other ruins along the way. Then turn east, running across the large bridge leading towards the city (image above).
- Enter the city. The idea behind this action is that the city guards should attack Umbra - she should stop chasing you. If this did not happen, then run a bit between the guards - an attack from one of them should eventually convince the warrior to strike back.
- The more characters attack Umbra, the faster she will die. If Umbra defeated the guards, run to the next district of the city to repeat the process.
- The method described unfortunately carries the risk of death to civilians in the city, who may also attack Umbra. Luckily, the important quest characters will only lose consciousness.
- Once Umbra is defeated you can loot her body, taking all of the items listed above.
- You can also loot the bodies of guards defeated by Umbra and this should not be considered theft. Visit the city’s merchants right away to get rid of any unnecessary equipment.
Gear taken from Umbra may be heavily damaged as a result of the fighting. Make sure to repair them yourself or visit one of the merchants offering this service.
